Engineer. Educator. Systems Thinker. Builder of Useful Things.

I’m Ed Ivory. I run the Electronics Prototyping Lab In the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science at Portland State University.  I mentor students, guide interdisciplinary capstone projects, and help turn ideas into tangible prototypes. My background spans mechanical engineering, embedded systems, additive manufacturing/digital fabrication, community management, and prompt engineering.

This site, a lab notebook of sorts, (will) feature experiments I’m currently poking at and resources for myself and maybe for you.

Currently I'm noodling on Meshtastic implementations, Ham Radio handhelds, and education aids.
